Like all Hendrix knives, the Mamba OTF is built for hard use. Each Knife comes with a 3.5-inch Clip point D2 blade that has been hand sharpened to an extremely sharp edge ready to cut right out of the box. The smooth ergonomic handles are made of aluminum. The button placement along the spine of the handle allows for lighting fast ambidextrous openings right from the operators pocket.

The inner workings of this knife don’t disappoint. “Under the hood” you will find all stainless steel precision parts and our proprietary coated high-performance spring. The - comes with our famous ViperLife Warranty giving you confidence and peace of mind.

VIPERLIFE WARRANTY

If your Viper Tec Knife has a defect in materials or workmanship, we will fix or replace them to get you back with your knife as soon as we can.

ViperTec Knives will not warranty products due to loss by theft or accident, damage caused by abuse, neglect, misuse, accident, improper blade sharpening, normal wear and tear including paint loss, fading, discoloration, or chips, introduction of foreign substances, or disassembly. Do not use your knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch. Do not throw your knife. ViperTec Knives will not warranty blades or handles that are twisted, bent, chipped, gouged, warped, or have had finishes removed. Use of ViperTec knives for any purpose other than cutting is considered abuse and will void the warranty.

The term “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product. This doesn’t mean your lifetime or ours, but rather the lifetime of the components and materials. All materials degrade over time with use and exposure to the elements and a product’s lifetime is a function of how much use it gets and how well it is cared for and not by how it is.

These are my three most useful knives, which are located in places that are easy to locate. The two "minies" get the most use, and the drop point full size blade is by far the most useful for large cartons and standby personal defense - if there is ever a need to have a knife for that purpose - which, fortunately, is unlikely. This newly introduced blade - at half price - is designed to feel like it is an extension of your own hand. The two deep finger grooves hold it as securly as you would ever wish in the palm of your hand as the blade slides smoothly in or out.

Solid Hendrix knife - 4.5 stars. I really like the contoured handle - fits my hand comfortably, ensuring a solid grip. The blade is beefy and sharp. Reasonably priced for the quality. This knife is head and shoulders above the "discount" knife that I bought several months ago. If I had purchased this knife first, i would not have bothered purchasing from the other company. First of all when I saw the knife on the website I was a little hesitant at first then I decided to give it a chance since I was getting 25% off. As soon as I pulled the Mamba out of the box and opened it I was impressed with the action and then there is hardly any blade play, there is a lot more blade play in a Microtech UTX85 and I know that because I have one. The Mamba is a way better knife than the Hendrix Titan and the X-Lites. The way the knife is made, it fits perfectly in your hand and has nice weight to it and then it gets the Viper Life warranty. The only thing is that I wish it would have came in the plastic case like the rest of the Hendrix knives do. If you’re thinking about ordering one, don’t hesitate and click that buy button, you won’t regret it. Way to go Viper Tec!
