Like all Viper Tec knives, the Zedd is built for hard use. Each Knife comes with a 3.5-inch Damascus Steel blade that have been hand sharpened to an extremely sharp edge ready to cut right out of the box. The smooth ergonomic handles are made of high-quality Zinc Alloy. The Zedd also allows for right and left-hand users to pocket carry with its stainless steel reversible pocket clip. If that wasn’t enough the Zedd knife also comes equipped with a “battle tested” glass breaker pommel.
The inner workings of this knife don’t disappoint. “Under the hood” you will find all stainless steel precision parts and our proprietary coated high-performance spring. The Zedd comes with our famous ViperLife Warranty giving you confidence and peace of mind.

ViperTec Knives will not warranty products due to loss by theft or accident, damage caused by abuse, neglect, misuse, accident, improper blade sharpening, normal wear and tear including paint loss, fading, discoloration, or chips, introduction of foreign substances, or disassembly. Do not use your knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch. Do not throw your knife. ViperTec Knives will not warranty blades or handles that are twisted, bent, chipped, gouged, warped, or have had finishes removed. The term “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product. This doesn’t mean your lifetime or ours, but rather the lifetime of the components and materials. All materials degrade over time with use and exposure to the elements and a product’s lifetime is a function of how much use it gets and how well it is cared for and not by how it is.

My second Damascus blade is just like the first. It has flawless extension/retraction functions, and the blade is thick and strong. The only knife I prefer over this one is the OTF new design with a side thumb activator and two finger grooves on the other side that anchors the frame in your hand. Unfortunately it is constantly sold out.

The knife came in the mail as advertised. The blade could be a little sharper. And the ball bearing for the glass breaker fell out the very first day. But that is 100% not the reason I bought the knife so it is really no big deal. But the firing action and the retracting mechanism feel amazing.

The knife came in really fast. Honestly though it looked used or refurbished. Paint wear marks are the top and sides. Carbon fiber plate had wear marks on it. The knife itself is loose too. Had to tighten them up. Other no issues, works great.

This is my second knife from them. This one arrived damaged. They were quick to provide the replacement parts. Although I did have to do the repairs myself. Customer service is good and works fast. Knife arrived sharp and holds up well. My first one from them was dame make and model and is still in use. I am not easy on knives. I don't try to abuse them but I am a 280 pounds so I bump into things. Good looking and tough knife. Great product for the money.

I had a screw fall out. Checked the others and about half of them was loose. I do not have a sharp knife. It is sharp in some places and other places you can see a flat edg. The blade comes out. Fine and locks.

A very nice knife. The blade is sharp and clean however I was not impressed with the handle. There were small scratches on the polished portion and the sliding mechanism that pushes the blade out looked a little melted or something on one end.

These are sum Awesome lookin designs that feel & function as well as they look! The only thing that is noticeable between the 2 I have here is, the Zedd Damascus' handle/materials feels substantially heavier than the Matrix D2.

I love this knife! It's a bit bulkier than I thought it to be when I ordered it, but other than that its a great knife! The pocket clip and the positioning of the switch make it super easy to carry around in your pocket! My only complaint is that the blade, once released and is out, wiggles a little bit and doesn't seem super secure. But other than that, great knife!

Overall, I like the knife. My one problem is that the pocket clip is bent to one side. I thought about trying to straighten it but was afraid I’d break it. It doesn’t affect the function, it just looks bad to me. It’s for that reason I rated it a “I Like It” instead of a “I Love It”.

I like it. I love the design on blade. Plus I got it for 50 percent off on black Friday. I've got a good few high quality otf's, I've got michrotechs, ultratechs,guardian recon and few other brands and they don't make that ching sound that these vipertec's make u know that ringing sound as you fire and retract. Thats the only thing I hate. But that also makes sense I guess understanding the price difference between vipertech's and others such as michrotech. Another thing that doesn't really bug me but threw me off a little.. The blade has etched damascus looking lines. I didn't test the blade steal but it was advertised damascus so I hope those etched designes aren't to trick people into thinking the blade is real damascus. Plus sure is heavy to have aluminum handles. I wonder what the materials are to make it way so much. Anyway I like the look of it and all in all I kinda really like it. I'm always playing with it and admiring the designed blade and haven't had any problems with its mechanism. It seems as though vipertech does good quality work with the materials they use and use good attention to detail putting they're knives together. Who knows I might get another one if the price is right. I'm happy with purchase.

Great knife! The coating isn't so durable as you can see after 2 weeks of daily use the coating is rubbing off, but the actual mechanics are what matters most and mechanism works flawless not to mention it is extremely sharp.. Just waiting for my new order to come in.... Thanks Viper-tec!!

For the money, I expected a "pretty good" knife. However, once I had it in my hands, I was incredibly surprised at how high the quality of this knife is. It has the heft, the action, and the smoothness of knives that are much more expensive. It was nicely sharp, and once I polished the edge, it was superb, and it is holding its edge wonderfully.
