Do not use your knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch. Do not throw your knife. Very heavy and sturdy product, blade was fairly sharp, but like most edged tools, they aren't razor sharp from the factory. 5 minute with a hand sharpener fixed that issue. I bought this only cause I didn't have 1 yet, an impulse buy with a 25% coupon off the knife. I have LOTS of knives, and love weapons. It does fit nicely in my new cell phone case in the extra pocket, so will try it EDC, but is HEAVY, so we'll see how that goes. All in all a excellent product, like all Viper products I've purchased.

I don't know when I would ever use it, but this "bad boy" is right out of the movies, and I actually own one. Viper Tec knives are quite practical, but this one is for pure shows-off. I'm old and nerdy, and for me, this is just a conversation starter. My other Viper Tec knives get used every day from opening letters to carving my way into Amazon boxes, to actually being used to cut material that knives are meant to be used for. If you often use a jackknife in the course of a week, for any purpose at all, get a Viper Tec OTF and save time using your knife. The action of these knives is quick and safe, the blades hold an edge well, and if you are overly concerned about safety, each knife comes with a rugged black mesh pouch to attach around a belt with a slim velcro loop. The firm force needed to activate the blade is safe enough for me, and the nylon sheets is fine for storing it with it's distinctive style and shape.

I enjoyed the three items in this order. The only negative comment I have is it took over two months to receive all three items. I paid an extra fee for immediate shipping, but did not start receiving them for months past when the orde was made. Also, prior to this order, I made another order in the first week of November. I purchased a full size, black double edged OTF ghost. After two or three times operating the knife, the spring mechanism has completely failed. I would like a replacement please, and I can return the broken knife. So, in order to have a pleasant experience, I would need a refund for purchasing 1-3 day shipping and a replacement for the broken knife please.

This is a solid knife. The handle was a bit too large for my hand but it still had a comfortable feel. The blade action was spot on but I also felt like if you tried throwing a punch with the blade open, you could catch your own face. Overall, it's a nice weapon, just not for me.

What can I say? It's basically brass knuckles with a blade. How much cooler can you get? Realistically, it is a bulky piece but if you like collecting cool stuff I doubt you will care. Fun to play with for sure.
