The 114PK has a 440 stainless steel blade, which is rust resistant and known for its ability to hold an edge. The handles are made of an epoxy powder coated zinc, and since it is skeletonized it keeps 114PK at a light weight. At just 5 oz. and at 5" closed it easily fits in the pocket.

Bear & Son have a skilled and experienced work force capable of performing many of the extra hand operations that go into the making of their products. While some companies only assemble parts brought from various suppliers and put their names on the product, they do everything in house from building their own blanking dies to heat treating, grinding and assembly, and hand finishing their products. The term “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product. This doesn’t mean your lifetime or ours, but rather the lifetime of the components and materials. All materials degrade over time with use and exposure to the elements and a product’s lifetime is a function of how much use it gets and how well it is cared for and not by how it is.
