A double action OTF deploys and retracts the blade automatically with a single thumb slide — no manual resetting required. All Viper Tec OTFs are double action.

What blade steel do Viper Tec OTFs use?

Depending on the model, our OTFs use 3Cr13, 440C stainless steel, or D2 tool steel. D2 offers the best edge retention for hard use.
