Like all Hendrix knives, the Mamba OTF is built for hard use. Each Knife comes with a 3.5-inch Clip point D2 blade that has been hand sharpened to an extremely sharp edge ready to cut right out of the box. The smooth ergonomic handles are made of aluminum. The button placement along the spine of the handle allows for lighting fast ambidextrous openings right from the operators pocket.

This is my 5th viper Tec and I had some quality issues but customer service promptly took care of the problem. This knife is a great budget friendly knife for hard daily use. I would recommend Viper Tec to anyone who likes OTF knives but doesn’t like premium pricing!

This is an amazing tool, definitely worth the money. You want something reliable for everyday carry. This is my 3rd purchase from Viper-Tec, and my favorite so far. And the mini-OTF I received for purchasing this knife was pretty awesome as well. That one went to my ole lady. Thank you Viper-Tec!
I really like the knife. Sturdy construction, quick release, and the finger grooves are a plus for sure..only complaint is the clip is not ambidextrous like most of viper tec knives. I'm left handed, so it helps to have tHe clip on the other side, but it's not a major deciding factor to purchase or not IMO.
What an awesome fu….g knife. It was made to fit in your hand perfectly. This is my 5th knife I have purchased from ViperTec. All of them are high quality reliable knives. ViperTec knives are like Lays potato chips. You just can’t have one. Thank you ViperTec.
This is my second purchase, the first was great, unfortunately I have misplaced my knife but had intentions on purchasing another one anyway. Both are great knives and Excellent quality that come from an awesome company.

I was originally sent the wrong knife. This was my 2nd purchase from Viper Tec. The first purchase of the grey ghost was a little disappointing. The knife was heavy with a lot of play when deployed. The 440 stainless struggles to hold a good edge. The Hendrix I purchased in this order was a fantastic, lightweight, and solid EDC knife. Very little play for an OTF. The D2 steel is high quality, as a few pulls on a good strop every evening keeps the blade razor sharp. That's with daily use. I would recommend this knife to anyone responsible enough to use it correctly
First off the shipping was super fast. Packaged safely as well. The knife is sturdy and built well. No problems with it at all yet. Blade could be a bit sharper in my opinion but over all it’s a great knife. Will definitely be ordering again soon.
This is a really solid knife, and it arrived very quickly.
I waiting for this knife for very long time but the wait is worth it the knife is what I expect from Viper-Tec this is my third knife from the company now I’m waiting for the Hendrix titanium to get back available.

One of the best knives under 300 dollars. Grip is super comfortable and the action feels solid. The only downside is that you can't change the pocket clip.
The Mamba D2 OTF Knife is one of the finest OTF Knife that I have ever had. The handle grip is perfect for both hands, the mechanism works flawlessly. This OTF Knife is made of the highest quality materials including the inner mechanism and it's complex parts. I clean it often and lubricate when necessary. My only suggestion would be to have put the clip on the opposite side of the handle. That way it is more accessible when using the right hand. Also be careful not to scratch the handle as it is very vulnerable. Be mindful and keep it in great condition or beat the hell out of it.. it will last a very long time.
A follow up to a previous review! Obviously I am too impatient!!! The Viper-Tech crew did contact me and hooked me up with 3 replacement screws to replace the 1 screw that was missing! Now my Mamba Hendrix is complete! Thanx and keep up the good work! 👍
Waited a while for this OTF to become available once again! Worth the wait! The only con about this particular knife was that 1 handle screw was missing! I attempted to contact Viper-Tec via email requesting a replacement screw, but so far no response and no pickup on the phone. Unfortunately, Customer Service is a bit lacking in that department. But other than that, very kool knife!
This is the 3rd Viper Tech knife I’ve purchased. The first two I gave as gifts to my adult sons. They enjoy them and said the knives are durable. I like the design of the one I have and look forward to using it. Also if you have any questions or issues with their knives email Viper Tech and they will do their best to accommodate you.
I find this knife to be quite comfortable to handle and very secure in my grip due to the finger slots and other design features. It's my second one of this kind, and I have several other similar designed OTFs. They come in very handy; many times in place of scissores.

These are my three most useful knives, which are located in places that are easy to locate. The two "minies" get the most use, and the drop point full size blade is by far the most useful for large cartons and standby personal defense - if there is ever a need to have a knife for that purpose - which, fortunately, is unlikely. This newly introduced blade - at half price - is designed to feel like it is an extension of your own hand. The two deep finger grooves hold it as securly as you would ever wish in the palm of your hand as the blade slides smoothly in or out.
I had to snug up some screws but it's got weight and I love the action. It's solid.

I was a little hesitant because most OTF knives don’t have the finger grips but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. Fits great in my hand. Used this all week In a warehouse. Action is great. Blade play is minimal. Sharp and durable. Seems like a winner!

Exactly what I wanted. Got a similar one a couple years back that couldn't keep a clip. This one has a complete different handle style as well as clip design; both overall and where the 2 interface. So im hoping to get much more use out of this one than my last.
This is the second OTF knife I purchased for my husband and he loves it. I've had my eye on this one for a while and it was well worth it. It has a good weight to it, no too heavy, and the grooved grip on it is perfect. It makes it easier to hold on to, even if you have smaller hands. It's also very sharp.
