Super solid knife good for the price have a few others everything came as advertised
The Viper Tec Small Black Ghost D/A OTF Knife brings the popular Ghost Series into a smaller, easier-to-carry package. At just 7 inches overall, the Mini Ghost is designed for customers who want the functionality of a double action OTF knife without carrying a full-size automatic knife. You can also browse our complete selection of OTF knives to compare other sizes and styles.
The 2.75-inch 440C stainless steel blade is hand sharpened and ready to cut right out of the box. Its compact blade size makes the Small Ghost a practical option for everyday cutting while keeping the overall profile considerably smaller than our full-size Ghost Series.
The double action out-the-front mechanism allows the blade to deploy and retract using the same spine-mounted sliding button. Push forward to deploy the blade and pull back to retract it into the handle. The button placement also makes operation convenient from either hand.
A smooth, ergonomic black zinc alloy handle provides a solid grip while keeping the Mini Ghost compact enough for everyday pocket carry. The reversible stainless steel pocket clip accommodates both right- and left-handed carry, and an integrated glass breaker pommel adds additional utility.
Inside the knife are stainless steel precision components paired with Viper Tec's proprietary coated high-performance spring. The result is a compact automatic OTF knife built around the same Ghost Series platform in a smaller configuration.
If you're looking for a small OTF knife, compact automatic knife, double action OTF, 440C out-the-front knife, or everyday carry OTF knife, the Small Black Ghost delivers the core features of a full-size Ghost in a more pocket-friendly 7-inch package.

What an amazing knife! Very similar to my Microtech, but a quarter of the cost. I was super stoked it came with all black hardware as well.
The small ghost is awesome. Its the perfect size and the D2 double edge blade came razor sharp! I got this one for myself and the tanto blade for my brother. These make great gifts. There really is no need to spend $300 on an otf knife from the other companies when you can a knife of the same quality from viper tech for a fraction of that. Im impressed with the quality of the knife. It's solid and seems really well made. I will be ordering more from viper tech in the near future! Plus both knives arrived in 3 or 4 days. And you get a lifetime warranty!
I was pleasantly surprised and enjoying this product very much
Great knife
The Small Black Ghost is a perfect size pocket carry knife. The blade has a very nice edge.
Good price a really nice knife
AWESOME knife! Great packing and shipping time. 👍 👍
Strong and sturdy! First of many!
Works great!! Will definitely be getting another one.
Love the knives! Will be ordering more full size black ghosts in the near future! I highly recommend this product!!!
Great knives with awesome warranty! They honored their lifetime warranty claim without a problem. Ordered another knife from them. Great quality and finish fitting comfortable in the hands. My only complaint which isn't product related was that it took almost a month to arrive via usps, I really wish more companies shipped using UPS but I know how logistics goes. Still leaving a well deserved A+ positive review and plan to buy more products from them. Thank you all at Viper-Tec!
So cool, good quality
Lightning fast action. Very little blade play. Viper really makes quality stuff.
Perfect size for EDC. Can't wait to grab a full size next time.
Great size for the pocket, this knife is very well built and a good quality blade.
Great product!
I was very hesitant to buy from Viper-Tec because I have never ordered from them before. The automatic OTF knife came well packaged and oiled and very sharp right out of the box. The knife is heavy duty and well made. The push action was a little stiff at the beginning but has not broken in very well. Overall this is a 5 Star knife and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Will definitely be a returning customer.
Absolutely love these knives. This one specifically as small enough for my hand shoots out like lightning. Super sharp blade and Tonto blade cannot go wrong. This gets 100 out of 100 for me.!!!
Love this compact OTF knife. I now have a full size and the compact.
Nice!
this is my 3rd viper tec and im in love again, solid build, action feels tight, just like my mni black rocket and my damascus blade zedd. nextup the gargantuain stiletto.
Great quality knife, very well made and super fast action, delivery was fast but my only complaint is identical to the majority on Vipertec's site this is literally the dullest knife I've ever purchased, when I emailed them they basically told me to sharpen it and although I did they really should take note when your majority complaint is the knives you sell are dull, I really do love the knife and just ordered a Hendrix dagger OTF, if I received a sharp knife it would have been 5 stars no doubt but it was butter knife dull, P.S. my WorkSharp got it razor sharp
I love this knife. I had the blade fail on deployment 3 times when it arrived but after setting it back in place with a easy pull it has not failed since. It has more power than I imagined. Truly impressive!! Thanks Viper-Tech!!!👍🏻🤘🏻
This is my first OTF from Viper Tec, won’t be the last. Nice weight and feel, smooth functionality. Love it.
Love it. Seems to be nice quality. Ended up doing 12 month subscription!
Awesome knife although tension should be adjusted a lil bit other than that awesome knife
Very nice knife. Next one I order will be a full sized. I carry this knife at work and at home. Seems to be good quality. Not as sharp as it feels but still does good.
Got it few days ago and can’t stop playing with it. Thanks not time will tell if it holds up but so far so good.
This is a great knife very sharp and sturdy I do think the thumb switch the eject the blade is a bit stiff and hard to open at times but hopefully it gets better with use I would still buy again
The knife is great. I only received half of the order and haven’t heard anything about the other half, which is concerning.
Shipping was free and fast. Knife arrived extremely sharp right out of the box. Feels very sturdy and the otf mechanism is smooth.
I am personally a die-hard Viper-Tec! I have several steel from them. Some I haven’t even used yet, just because whenever I get one, I think to myself “I really like that other one too”. So this time around, I caught one of their amazing sales and said I’m going to get both blades so I’ll have no regret. Once again, not disappointed. I was concerned about the size because of my hands, but it feels as good as the full size. Feels sturdy, confident in the glass breaker and it’s an absolutely perfect edc for my wife, hikes and rides her bike alone sometimes. She’s more comfortable with this OTF than any edc I’ve tried to give her. THAT says something right there, to me at least. These are well crafted, great looking, functional knives. I just wish I could get a small self care & maintenance book with the knives. (Hint hint..) 5 stars all day!!
Ordered two knives only received one contact a customer service and they sent the other one straight away!!! The qualities of the knives are excellent as their reputation stated!!
Excellent Quality and Service. A very durable product. )
*PRE ORDER* Mini Black Ghost D/A OTF (Multiple Blade Styles Available)
I purchased this knife on 3/18/22 and received it on 3/21/22 I unboxed it looked it over then extended the blade when I retracted the blade it stuck with a 1/2" still protruding out the handle. I contacted Viper Tec they emailed a prepaid return label I mailed it on 3/23/22 and to my dismay I come home from work on 3/24/22 and my replacement knife was here. This is excellent service and I will tell anyone that will listen to me that I will buy from Viper Tec again. Oh by the way the knife is a great product I love it.
Love this little guy….He is so cute!
I love this knife!!! Definitely buying few more.
Would have bought two but wanted to try one out first. Will buy again.
Really good weight to it. Doesn't feel cheap. Quick dual action. Well worth the price
