I've purchased a few times from Viper. I love their products. Many OTF knives and now the OTF pen. The price point is amazing. Great selections and blade customization. Surely I'm going to buy more knives from these guys. BTW, they make great gift ideas. At least my brother thinks so.
This pen looks good. Writes well. And of course, the blade mechanism is ver smooth. You can even lock the mechanism so the blade is not initiated by mistake. It also has a good feel to it. I have two of them.
I will eventually have all the colors to complete my pen/knife wardrobe. I’m really enjoying this project. 🙂

This is a pretty good OTF Pen. It comes with a replacement cap with a hole to allow the blade to pass through. It is pretty heavy for a pen, but light for a knife.

I actually ordered 2 of these pens, this blue 1 and a gray 1. But my fiancé confiscated the gray 1 to carry at work. Weapons of any kind are not allowed at her workplace. But she’s a cashier at a major retailer and there has been a lot of trouble all over the US involving assaults and robberies and even kidnappings at these retailers so the employees are definitely not safe! This lil pen may not look like a big dagger but it’s extremely sharp and in the right place it could easily stop an assailant and could mean the difference in her life or death. This doesn’t resemble a knife at all and it actually writes fairly nice so nobody has a clue what she’s carrying. We figured the gray looks more like a pen than the blue 1. My only suggestion would be that they need to powder coat the slide around the blade at the opening because the raw metal draws attention and stands out . But that’s the only thing I could suggest. But I definitely recommend this lil devil for any auto opening fans out there! It’s a cool lil conversation piece for sure and you won’t regret it!

I never thought I would start a collection of these knives lol but they're awesome The only problem I have with the pen where can I get refills for the ink cartridges other than that I may get a couple more thanks guys

A long time ago, as a knife-enthusiast kid with a generic fixed-blade penknife, I thought up a pen just like this! I would never have imagined one day I’d randomly find and own one! It’s very well-made, with a heft to the pen, and the mechanism is super smooth! The blade itself is of course on the smaller side, with a kind of letter-opener cutting edge. It’s not going to replace a dedicated knife, but it’s so incredibly fun and the quality and thought that went into the design makes this a product I adore. Bonus is it makes me smile when I use it at work!
The pen itself is pretty solid, All aluminum, good size. The blade is not very big, but...it's a PEN knife, it's enough for defending yourself if you are in certain situations and make a great box opener. No complaints about the pen knife, But my one issue is with the photos of the pen knife on the website. The angle of the blade in the photos gi es the appearance that it is a whole lot bigger and sturdier than it actually is. It's fine for what it is so no need to make it look better. Overall, I think it's a pretty cool pen knife.
My first pen had a issue deploying but was replaced under warranty. So far so good. It’s a great little blade.

I can't lie at first I was a little hesitant about spending $80 for a knife that's about 3 to 4 inches without the blade but then I pulled the trigger and got it and I couldn't be happier. You can tell it's quality made and surprisingly heavier then I thought it was gonna be. The slide button was a lil tight at first but all in all I'm highly impressed and extremely satisfied. I will be buying another Viper TEC in the near future.
Definately a cool and useful device! Overall it's pretty good quality. I was a little disappointed in the ease of use in that the pen wants to unscrew when opening the pen. Also, the knife can be a little tough to eject at times as well. Would be nice if the safety clicked in and out of position.
